Thank you for visiting my digital portfolio<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I’m Margaret Priest, a second year M.A.\/M.S. candidate in the Conservation of Art and Cultural Heritage \/ Conservation Science and Imaging in the Patricia H. and Richard E. Garman Art Conservation Department at Buffalo State University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While specializing in paintings, I’m currently pursuing research which evaluates the efficacy and ethics of select tools used in conservation.

I volunteer in the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network of AIC as Outreach Co-Officer and Buffalo State University Liaison.

I am a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina Asheville, where I earned a B.A. in Art History with minors in Studio Art and Chemistry. During my undergraduate studies, I was a collections intern at the Black Mountain College Museum + Arts Center, an intern at a private paintings conservation studio, and a teaching assistant in both organic and inorganic chemistry.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
